About Tijoga
Supporting students in London and across the UK with essay writing since 2018
Our Story
Tijoga started in 2018 when three former teachers in London noticed a pattern. Students struggled not because they lacked ideas, but because they didn't know how to structure them. They needed guidance on organizing thoughts, developing arguments, and expressing themselves clearly in written form.
We began working with 12 students from local schools in Wandsworth. Within six months, we expanded to serve families across South London. Today, we assist over 200 students annually with their essay assignments, from Year 7 through A-levels.
Our team includes 8 qualified educators with backgrounds in English literature, history, and humanities. Each specialist has at least 5 years of classroom experience and understands curriculum requirements for GCSE and A-level examinations.
Our Purpose
We help students develop writing skills that serve them throughout their education. Our focus is on teaching structure, argument development, and clear expression. We work alongside students to show them how to analyze topics, organize evidence, and present ideas coherently.
Every student receives personalized guidance based on their current level and specific assignment requirements. We don't write essays for students. Instead, we teach them how to write effectively themselves.
What We Offer
Our service covers essay planning, structure development, and revision techniques. Students learn to create outlines, develop thesis statements, and build coherent paragraphs. We address common issues like weak introductions, unclear arguments, and poor paragraph transitions.
Sessions are conducted online or at our office in Wandsworth. Each consultation lasts 60 minutes and focuses on the student's current assignment. We provide written feedback and practical examples that students can reference when working independently.
We specialize in essays for English literature, history, and social sciences. Our educators are familiar with exam board requirements for AQA, Edexcel, and OCR specifications. This knowledge helps students meet marking criteria and improve their grades.
